Michal, 17, came over 3/10/02 on "Pretoria" from Hamburg to
father Jan in Cutchogue, L.I..
Marcin, , came over 5/29/08 on "Statendam" from Rotterdam
to father Jan in nearby Southold, L.I..
Suggest you contact St. Isadore Polish church in Riverhead
for old records. Sopockin/Sapockin shows up in Shtetlseeker
but Perstun/Pastuny is a mystery as are Jan/John & Frank/Fra
nciszek. It looks like they all came over in separate years
including old Jan & Antonina. There still are some Zaniewski,
Zanieski, Zaneski,(no Zanenski),et on North Fork of Eastern LI, per phone book..I assume you're related to these potato
farmers in Cutchogue, Southold, Mattituck et al. Those Poles
out there were a close knit group...I should know I was one of them, except on the South Fork. "Powodzenia, pani !!!"
