It seems we are related. John Jaro was my great grandfather.

I tried to find out a bit more about Jaroszewicz genealogy when I was in Belarus back in 2001. I heard from natives that the name originated around the city of Brest in western Belarus, which was part of Poland between the wars.

Perhaps we could correspond other than through this forum. I suppose the administrator of this site has some method for putting people in contact. I have not looked at this site for over a year, which explains why I did not see your message.
