Hi Marcin,

Yes, Obuchowski and Obuchowicz are similar names and are derived from the same root of Obuchow.

I intend to visit both Duchowlany and Replya when i visit Belarus next year which i am looking forward to. I do know there is still at least one OBUCHOWSKI (Irene) who still lives in Replya and i hope to visit her. Did your father grow up in this area ??
