My grandfather was born Vladimir (Walter). His father was SIMEON MAXIMOVICH DAVIDCHIK and his mother was YEPHROSINIYA KONDRATOVA. Grandpa was born in the "Minsk province, Lutsk region, Chaplin district, Village Bilevich, Belarus on Feb. 2, 1916." He was baptised in Minneapolis, Mi USA. In the US he was known as Walter Zomchek. Any ideas of how to research the family history in Belarus. I am in the process of doing a family tree and am not having much luck.
