A lot of Prussian citizens have had the Polish names becouse many of them were of Polish ( Masurian) origin. They were germanized mostly in second part of XIX cent. but many of them spoke Polish dialects till 1945. Majority left East Prussia after 1945, some stayed in Poland. Lubowski ( orLubawski ) could be Masurian name and you should not try to find the traces of migration. Probably they were native Masurian and came from Olsztyn ( Allenstein). Try with Olsztyn State Archive, find the information on : www//archiwa.gov.pl
There is an Eglish version of their pages.
