Researching Melamed family from Svisloch, Belarus. (the one near Bialystok).
Grandmother Elke(maiden name Fuchs) immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1913 with 3 boys. Three 3 girls immigrated earlier. Grandfather Abraham died in Belarus.
Children's English names were: Molly, Celia, Bessie, Issie, Simon and Max. Max was from a twin birth. Twin (girl) died as a young child.
