I am searching for information about my Russian ancestors: Nicholai Belokopytzki (Nicholas Belokopitsky), born May 31, 1886 in Borke, Russia and who immigrated to the United States on the S.S. Czar, leaving the port at Libau, Latvia and arriving at Ellis Island, NY, NY on June 11, 1912. He was accompanied by Alick Lesocovich to go to Adam Lesocovich in Upstate NY. (His mother's name was Mary Belokopitsky, who was later married to Luke Shibka). Sophia Shatevich, born August 10, 1886 in Klenovka, Russia. She also immigrated to the United States, arriving at Ellis Island, NY, NY on December 25, 1911. Her parents were Alexis Shatevich and Vasilisa Matuzonok. Nicholas and Sophia were married in the United States on October 11, 1913. Witnesses to the marriage included Alex Mihalowsky and Peter Tsaruk. Note: Nicholas also lived in Minsk. Sophia also lived in Vilnius, Lithuania. Other names associated with the family are Shibka/Shibko, Lescovich/Lesocovich, Mihalsky/Mihalski, Abramchuk, Rosnick, Zaharchuk, Pawelczak. Nicholas and Sophia's children were Eugenia, Olga, Anna, Joseph, Michael, George, Andrew and Alexander.
