Belanger's in Upstate NY

I just stumbled upon this forum. I can't recall all the details of the information I have. But I can only go back as far as Elias Belanger. This is from my father's side. I'm interested in bridging the gap between 1500's and the mid 1800's. But for now -

Elias Belanger - I can't remember any other information except that he was from Quebec; he had several children. I can only recall 3 for now:

Louis Belanger
Henry Belanger
Alfred Joseph (Alphonse? Joseph) Belanger (b. ~1891, dead 1961) married Mabel (b. 1899, dead 1983) ~1923?

4 Children (all born in Utica, NY):
Clara (nee Belanger) - b. ~1925, dead 1997
Dorothy Rado (nee Belanger) - b. ~1928
Alfred Joseph Belanger - b. 1930, dead 1997
Silvia Giffune (nee Belanger) - b. 1935
