Hi Shannon
So far I have not come up with anything. You are aware that recent changes in law allow you to get a copy of your father's birth certificate with the parents names on it, aren't you? I have been able to help a friend, recently, who got a copy of his birth certificate from Maine and I found his parents, a full brother and 2 half brothers of his that he had no idea existed. Your father is 10 years younger than I am so that would make his mother a bit older than me but not so old that I would not remember another Belanger family in Van Buren. The town just wasn't that big. There were many Belangers in Grand Falls New Brunswick, across the river from Van Buren; that's where my father came from but again,no Arlene. How did you come by her name? If verbally, could it have been Irene?
