G'day Tom.
Cool to get your email.
Well, my Beith family arrived sometime in the late 1800s in Australia - most arrived in Melbourne.
Didn't realize that more Beith's had arrived in more recent times. Very interesting.
My Grandfather (also Gordon Beith) was born in Victoria (somewhere) around 1899, and fought in the 1st World War - even lost a leg. He had a lot of siblings spread out across Victoria, NSW, and Western Australian.
Beith makes up only 25% of my blood (Scottish), whilst O'Connor makes up more 50% (Irish), and the other 25% is made of Parker and Wainwright (both English).
Cheers,
Gordon.
