Hi, Gregg. My name is Harriette, and I'm researching the genalogy of a friend, Russell K. Bender. Russ is related to th PA Beitels through his paternal grandmother, Mary L. Beitel.
Briefly, his line is as follows:
- Heinrich Beutel & Elisabeth? (Just learned wife's name, thanks.)(Germany)
- Johann R. Beitel & Juliana Schmidt (PA)
- John Beitel & ? (May just be Johann's Anglicized name)
- Josiah O. Beitel & Maria Kern
- James C. Beitel & Emma Koehler (dau. Solomon Koehler & Mary Ann Ehret)
- Charles T. Bender & Mary L. Beitel
- Robert E. Bender & Dorothy E. Klopp
- Russell K. Bender
Until recently I didn't have access to all the records. Russ did know Heinrich's name, that he lived in Germany, the names of the family members as I've listed them, and that the family's roots were/are in the Lehigh & Northhampton Co. PA areas. I'm so glad that I'll be able to pass on this new info to him, to fill in some of the gaps on this side of the family! Thanks to one and all.
By the way, does anyone have information re John or Josiah Beitel or their families.?
