Good of you to reply to my posting. Yes, I have been in contact with Bob, & have exchanged some info on the various Beitel lines. I find it interesting that you are serving in Germany - what a tremendous opportunity! Heinrich settled in Herrnhut, about 300 kilometers to your southeast, prior to establishing the mission in South America. Both he & his wife are buried in Herrnhut. A mother/daughter team, who research the Beitel line, have been to Herrnhut & could give you some pointers on accessing genealogical information. They are Nancy Sickler & Janet Rupert.
