Posted by: Valerie Karvoski (ID *****8253) Date: March 23, 2004 at 12:04:14 In Reply to: Re: Beisel Family Ederbach or Eberbach? by David Richardson of 60 I have finally proven that Charles Beisel, one of my immigrant ancestors, was in fact Carl Matthias Beissel, baptized on 18 June 1829, in the Evangelische Kirche, in Strümpfelbrunn, Baden. That line goes back to Eberbach, Mosbach, Baden, and to Igelsbach, Mosbach, Baden. A German cousin has the Beissel line back to a Xaver Bus, who was born about 1370, in Eberbach.
