Thanks so much for posting and sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Interestingly enough, while home for the holidays in Pennsylvania, I came across a picture of a man in a military uniform and on the back, "Johnny Behun" was written. This was the first time I had heard of a Johnny Behun. After I got back to San Francisco (my home), I researched online and found a John Behun who lived with my great grandmother and her husband & kids. On the 1900 census, it says he is my great grandmother's brother. He was born in Slovakia in 1879 and emigrated to the United States in 1882. Anyway, though this sheds new light, it doesn't seem possible to be the same John Behun who is the brother of your relative because he would have been born 20 years before Anna, but we still may be related. I will contact Stephan in Slovakia soon and let you know what I find out. Again, thanks so much for responding to my posting.
