I don't know if I can help you - all I know is that my father, Roger Hamilton Behling, was born in Marshfield on January 1, 1942, to Robert and Thea Behling. They were not originally from Marshfield, but moved there after they were married (from somewhere in central Wisconsin). Robert Behling was born around 1916 and had several brothers and sisters, most of whom relocated to Milwaukee. The only one I remember meeting is my great Aunt Myrtle Behling who lived in Milwaukee and worked for the Milwaukee Journal. She never married. Sound like our Behling families may be connected somehow. Do you have any more information? I know very little about the Behling side of my family but would love to know more.
