Hi Kevin,
Received your message July 12, 2000 as I was on vacation for a week.
My husband is a Dartmouth Behan, his family back to his great great grandfather, who came over from Ireland, have lived all their lives in Nova Scotia.
As far as we know he came from Wexford, Ireland married his wife in Newfoundland had one son and moved to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Several of the children of my father-in-law's
uncle moved to the states perhaps your wife's family are descendents from that part of the family. If you give me some idea of the names of your wife's father and grandfather I may be able to make a connection for you.
