Hi, Rob. You probably are on your way to Ireland today--lucky stiff! Got a letter from Isla (PRUITT) RICHARDS, a living grandchild of William Patrick BEHAN also spelled BAHAN and Sarah Catherine THOMPSON. As you know, William was the son of John BEHAN b. abt 1825 Ireland and Anna UNKNOWN. John and Anna had two daughters, Mary and Anna. One of the sisters, don't know which, got married and had two children, Andrew and a girl whose name could not be recalled. Mary and Anna lived in Louisville and came up to visit William and Sarah in Brown Co., IN. This had to be between 1881, when Wm and Sarah married, and 1913, when William died. After William died, I think, the sisters moved to CA and wrote to Sarah who died 1927, IL. We would really like to find these missing relatives, as well as determine where John BEHAN was from.
