My wife has quite a history on the Begin family. Phonetic pronunciation: "Bayzyhee." Perhaps it is derived from your book. It was compiled by her uncle John Begin (d. 1980) who was a professor at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. USA. Her branch of the family settled in Versailles, Ohio and were, of course, originally from France. Perhaps we could share information. If you'd like, please initiate e-mail contact.
