Her birth name was Evelyn Laura Begin. Her father was Oliver Edward Begin (married Eva Desmarais), his father was Edward Joseph Begin (married Clara Groulx), and his father was Phillipe Begin (married Emelina Leconte).
My Pepere (Oliver Edward Begin) was born in Suncook, NH in June 1909. I don't really know much about his side, except that his family was supposed to have been from Canada, then moved to NH, then to RI. Most of his brothers and sisters stayed in the Rhode Island/Massachusetts area. Let me know if you want any further info! I think there's only one sibling of his left still alive, his name is Victor Begin and lives in California. :) Lorena
