In response to your message about Stella Virginia Piersol Beggs, I have the following information: I am her granddaughter, Estelle Beggs Evert b. 3/28/46. My father was her son John Bailey Beggs b12/22/1912; d.11/82. Both Cyrus and Margaret Beggs Hathaway were his siblings. Both are now deceased. There were 10 children born to Stella, 8 lived to adulthood. All are now deceased. Stella named a daughter for her sister Edith (Beggs) Hayward, d.abt 1973. 6 of the 8 children died from cancer as did Stella. Two from heart attack. Her husband Richard Beggs lived until 1950. There are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren--mostly in the Kansas/Missouri area. I have 3 siblings: John 1937 to 2002, David, 1939, Marilyn 1952. I would enjoy learning more about Stella and her family, and you. I never knew her but wanted to learn about her. I do have two pictures of her that I will share. I live in GA, have two daughters, and two grandchildren.
