William Beggs born about 1799 in Scotland married Catherine Pringle born 1810 in Ireland. Their seven known children were born in Whitby East, Ontario County (near Oshawa).
Jane Beggs married James Smith and had one son named John G Smith.
Martha Beggs born 1845 married William Bambridge; and their known children are Wilfred Gordon, Gordon and Louise.
John Beggs born 1836 was living in Chicago, Cooks County, Illinois at the time of his mother's death in 1892.
Thomas George Beggs born 1850 and his brother William Pringle Beggs born 1842 were living in Woburn, Massachusetts in 1892. They owned the Beggs and Cobbs Tannery in Woburn. Thomas later moved to Confluence, Pennsylvania. William's son Sidney moved to Honolulu.
