I have records of Alexander Beggs born in Antrium CountyIRE 5/30/1754 came to PA, NC, KY then Union County IL - children Archibald, Isaac, Robert, John and Alexander JR. No girls listed but maybe a gap. He was in NC sometime between 1776 (when he enlisted in rev. war) and 1800 when he moved to KY. I have Abstracts of Rev. War Pension Files and an affidavit to get the pension. Let me know if this helps!
