Hi B.H., I too believe that i may have an unknown connection in Jersey Co. IL. My G-mother Oma Etta (#3) was born in Union Co. IL on May 25, 1876. Listed in the Union Co. Register of births pg 17, # 209 were her parents, Nancy Susan Dayvault age 27, b. NC, & William Jeff Beggs, age 26, b. Union Co, IL. Also in the register of births Jan 25 1888 was child # 7, Lucinda B. Beggs. The parents are the same, but Williams POB is listed as Jersey Co, IL.
Oma (Naomi) Etta married my G-father Benjamin GORDON Hammond, moved to AR, then back to East Hardin IL, in Jersey Co. they lived next to the Hardin Bridge.
