Hi, Leslie,
I currently have a book which I was able to borrow thru 'interlibrary loan' at our city library, entitled "Book O' Beggs", written in 1928 by Robert Henry Beggs and published in Denver CO, - and your Alexander - and a host of his relatives and ancestors are written about in considerable detail. I must return it to my library by 7-31-01 (probably before, since my line of Beggs is not traceable in it). You will find it to be a priceless guide in YOUR search.
People have been kind to me in searching various names, and I'm so glad to pass on help to you.
Dorothy Beggs Applebee (trying to find James M. - in vain)
