I don't have any Arthur's (first name only) in my family list, but I do have many Johns'.

If so, then I can relate to you our version of where the family came from. Which is not much different than what is posted on this site regarding Alexander Beggs, Sr. and Jr. They came to Pennsylvania, from Antrim, Ireland, then to N. Carolina, then to Illinois. My family descends from a son John, then Joseph, then William, then Bertha Beggs Kiestler Vines.
