Hi, are you sure your Thomas is from Ballycarry,Antrim, Ireland? I've some information on a few Thomas's in Ireland, but none from Ballycarry. I have Thomas Beggs in the following places in Ireland:
1. Ballytobber Townland, Carncastle Co., Antrim; 1851.
2. Killyglen Townland, Grange Killyglen Co., Antrim; 1852. (The head of household is Thomas; as is one of the boys. The boy Thomas is 16 yrs old, both he and his father are listed as Shoemakers).
3. Druminadonagy Townland, Kilwaughter Co., Antrim.
Well I don't know if this helps you any, but if you think it might; email me and I'll send the rest of info that I have. I have forgotten to list my source for these, but I do know they are from a census of Ireland. I have the source written down, but have to find my index book for sources.
