Welcome Donald, I see this is your first posting on genforum.Sure glad it was this one. Barry is in Galston (probably having a lie down as we speak) and is getting info and sending it to me. His grandfather and my great grandfather were 1/2 brothers. I ran a kinship report on us and it said we were half 2nd.cousins twice removed-you and I should be the same. He did find a lot of the info you posted here but he was not sure how all these people fit in. I will put all your info in my program and send him the results. I think your Matthew and his John were brothers so you are 2nd cousins. My Robert was from their fathers first mar. to Margaret Brown.Your grandfathers were from Mary Smith. Barry is just getting started with this, I on the other hand have been at it for 30 years or so and he has given me more info than I could find in all those years.
