Judy: I can't help you with Alexander Beggs, but I do have a request regarding the Beggs of IRE and SC. Could you check your database for the following:

*John Beggs born ca. 1792, Antrim, IRE
married Jane Bell before 1825, probably Chester Co., SC; moved to Perry Co., IL, about 1840; died 29 May 1872; buried Swanwick, Perry Co., IL. Children - Mary Ann (1825-1888), James (1828-1870), John (1830-1879), Alexander (1833-1861), Samuel (ca. 1836-ca. 1860) and Margaret (ca. 1836-after 1880). Two of the children were born in Chester Co., SC, and the other four were born in SC. The family moved to Perry Co., IL, about 1840.

I'm trying to identify the parents of John and Jane and find whatever I can about their lives.

I'll be glad to send more information about the children if you would like to have it in your database.
