Hello,
I know it is some time since you posted your message but it isonly in the last few months that I have had an interest in the Begg familyI too am interested in the Begg surname.
You also show an interest with a link to the surname Gordon. My father was Angus McDonald. His brother, John McDonald (b c1852) married a Marion Gordon in Dunbartonshire in Row/Rhu depending upon which document you look at.
His daughter, Mary Jane McDonald married Daniel McKnzie Begg in 1908 and they has 2 boys born in Rngoon - John McDonald Begg born 1914 and Daniel McKenzie Begg, born in 1917.
Do these names mean anything to you? Looking forward to hearing from you.
