Tracy, thank you so much for your encouragement and caring. my flight went well. i just got back in last nite.
pat is still devasted, she got home sunday. the cat has been going around the house trying to find Monty. pat said she went in every room looking for him, she hasn't figured out yet what has happened. she know, of course, that something is wrong. we also had a flood at the cabin, which used to be Dad's and pat bought it from him.
They have a problem with water pressure up there because of the way the water flows due to the mountains. well;anyway, the line under the bathroom sink broke, and water sprayed everywhere. part of the basement got flooded and there is a lot of books, papers, etc that got soaked. My brother and his wife didn't know anything about it until a neighbor called( it is vacant) and told them. they wound up taking up the carpet in the bathroom because it was soaked to the hilt, and moving things that were in the front 2 bedrooms onto beds to dry, and turning on fans to dry everything out. she almost cried when we told her about it. luckily she has it insured so she is contacting her insurance agent to see what can be done.
it is so hard for me to come back to stl when i really don't want to, Ruidso is Home for me. i am praying that the Lord will provide a job for my husband there so we can move and i can be closer to my side of the family. please pray also for his salvation and his awful, negative attitude. he desperately needs the Lord. i must go now . take care and i will hope to hear from you soon. judy
