Rachael "Molly" Beeson was my ggggrandmother. She died in 1766, shortly after the birth of Amaziah. He was adopted by Benjamin Beeson, a brother of her father. My records indicate that Amaziah's father was an "educated Indian", whatever that means. Rachael was disowned at the New Garden Meeting (Quaker) on 7/6/1766 according to my references. New Garden Qtrly Meeting records are now at Guilford College, No. Carolina, Vol I.
