In response to your statement " Beeston Castle has NO links to a family"! Well, it was built in 1225 on a "Crag" at the village of BEESTON, Cheshire, England. Beeston is recorded in the "Domesday Book",published in 1086 by King William as being held by Wulfwy Beeston.
Thought the castle was built by Earl Ranulf, it was known as Beeston Castle because of the hill it built-on and the local village (both named Beeston) . In the 16th century the Castle was acquired by a local landowner, Sir Hugh Beeston, who allowed some of the "poorer family members to live there"!
I belive it has a link to the Beeson Family! Marvin Beeson
