John, Do you know the names and birthdates of any of the children that Elizabeth and Asahel had? Also, do you know what happened to Elizabeth after the divorce? I'm guessing here...could Elizabeth's middle name be Ann and could she have been the Ann Pennington that Edward Beason (Asahel's uncle) married. Edward also adopted her three sons...one of which is my 3rd great grandfather, Richard Dunn Beason. Some information that I have come across from other researchers seem to think that during the Rev. war, when he was away from home, Edward had children by Ann and after his first wife died he married Ann and legalized his sons by her. This is speculation. It seems that all the Beeson/Beason researchers that I have come across have a brick wall when it comes to figuring out anything about Edward's second wife, Ann.
