John Beeson, the first three children (born in Davidson, NC) of Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford (they married in 1835, Stokes, NC). Jehu Beeson's (b: about 1838) Parents: Ezra Beeson and Elizabeth or Parents: Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford Wife: Fanny Wood married in 1185 John L. Beeson (b: about 1841) Parents: Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford Wife: Fannie Wood in 1885. Since Jehu is another name for John, could these two be one and the same? Catherine Beeson (b: about 1839, NC) Parents: Absolom Beeson and Joycy Ledford Husband: Elijah Thacker, Bond Co., IL in 1856 In the 1860 census Catherine and Elijah were living in IL and had a 14-year-old Elizabeth Ledford living with them. Not too far away there lived William, Hugh, Polly, Betsy, Sarah, and Martha Ledford. Since this was the surname of Catherine's mother, Joycy Ledford, I am wondering how they were related. I've never been able to determine the names of Joycy's parents. Everyone here has such a wealth of information, I was hoping someone had run across these three (Jehu, Catherine, and John Beeson) and could tell me about what I perceive as some kind of mixup. Your help would be truly appreciated. Joycy and Absolom are my gr gr gr grandparents. Notify Administrator about this message?
