I just started my search.There are some coincidents here. My gr.grandfather James W.Hogue b. 7-5-1871 Hickory Co.,Mo. d.10-1966 Ricthie Co.,W.Va. I was told our line started in Green Co.,Pa. But what is strange is that I own 24ac. on Beeson next to Big Besson in Ricthie Co.,W.Va. ( about 40mi. east of Parkersburg). Maybe this will lead you somewhere.Also James went to W.Va. around 1880-1890 (as a boy) Married about 1898. (first child b. 2-29-1899) Good Luck
