William H. Kelley Sr. was born on May 27 1837 in Lawrence Co. OH. "Harry." He was married to Mary Ellen Beery (daughter of John A. Beery and Mary Ann Crook) about 1860 in Platte Co., MO. Mary Ellen Beery was born on Feb 22 1840 in Fairfield Co. OH. She died after 1911 in Kansas City MO. In 1850 census: Preston Twp., age 8, born in Ohio. Mary Ellen was not listed in the 1860 census, which gives her parents, siblings, and grandmother Mary. William H. Kelley Sr. and Mary Ellen Beery had the following children:

8 Pearl S. Kelley was born on Nov 20 1871 in Missouri.
9 Reuben L. Kelley was born on Aug 21 1875 in Clinton Co. MO.
10 Albert C. Kelley was born on Nov 6 1877 in Missouri.
