Hi there Nancy - been a while since I posted my message, I almost forgot about it.
The Abraham from my book was born in 1718 and died May 2, 1799. At the age of 18, he came from the Cantons of Switzerland, landing at Philadelphia, Pa., Oct. 19, 1736, settling in Adams Co., where he lived many years and raised a family. His sons emigrated to the Shenandoah Valley in VA, settling on Linville Creek in Rockingham Co., near a place now called Edom.
