Asa Porter Beers married Mary Amanda Morgan on 13 November 1877 in DeKalb County, Missouri. Mary was the daughter of Hiram C. Morgan (born 28 February 1819 died 8 October 1883)and Margaret Price (born 28 October 1822 died 5 October 1908). Parents buried Pleasant Hill Cem., Otoe County, Nebraska.
Asa Porter Beers lived in Otoe County, NE also but later moved to Lamar, Chase County, Nebraska where he died and buried in Lamar Cemetery. Tombstone dates born 29 October 1843 died 2 November 1911. His wife Mary was the owner of the cemetery plot B36.
Mary Amanda Morgan was born 8 May 1857 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska County, Iowa and died 22 January 1939 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. Mary lived with her daughter Stella Mae Beers and husband Lonza Elmer Lewis in the 1920 Weld County, Colorado census taken for Kersey and in 1930 Salt Lake County, census taken for Salt Lake.
