Hi Bob!
I have been researching the name Beer (Beere) for seven years now. My husband was born in colchester England under the name John Beere (Beer)on 24 March 1961. We arent quite sure of the spelling as we have had two different spellings now. He was adopted to a US couple stationed at Ipswich (Kesgrave) and brought to America. We have been researching to try to find his relatives in the UK as all of his adoptive relatives are deceased and he has no family. His adoption took place through Suffolk so we are thinking perhaps his family is from Suffolk. His mothers surname is listed as Gwendoline Elizabeth Beere on his birth certificate but listed as Gwendoline Elizabeth Beer(s) at the suffolk public record office for adoptions. Can you check your resources or family history to see if there is any connection to this name? We are desperate to find her as he has been diagnosed with a medical disease. thank you so much for your time. Dayna Bishop
