Hi all,
I have an August John BEER who was sailing to Australia. Boat was lost in seas at Great Britain and the North Sea on 3 to 4 December 1863 near island of Terschelling.
August Beer was aboard, rescued and came out on next boat from Hamburg. (Do not know boats)
August Beer married Mary Heuer in 1886 in Queensland and had the following children:-
Elizabeth Rose Beer born 7 March 1887
John William Beer born 2 September 1888
Bertha Henrietta Beer born 27 June 1891
Minnie Ricker Beer born 1 December 1892
Alice May Beer born 24 November 1897
Maria Beer born 8 September 1896.
Minnie Beer married a Patrick Garrahy (or Garraty) on 21 March 1917.
That is all the info. I have so far. Is there any connections out there?
