Gilbert Gaston Gordon married, on 20 May 1875, Julia Ann Beer(s)in Allegheny Co., PA. Per her death certificate, Julia was the daughter of Charles Beer(s) and Sophia Sandels, born in Nov 1859 at Newport, KY. Gilbert was a farmer in Moon Twp., Allegheny Co., PA and died on 8 Jun 1892 when struck by lightning. Julia survived him by 37 years, dying on 12 Jul 1929. Both were members of the Sharon Presbyterian Church, where Gilbert, like his father, was a ruling elder. Gilbert and Julia are buried at Sharon Presbyterian Cemetery. Seeking any info on this line of Beer/Beers.
