Yes, George was married more than once. He married Sarah Dyer in England on April 17, 1810 and had 10 children with her. Sarah died shortly after they arrived in PEI and George raised his family alone. When George was in his late 60's, he married Mary Gorman (abt. 1854)who was supposedly around 18 at the time. They ended up having 4 children together. One of then, Joseph Wilder Beer is my gg-grandfather.

Would it be possible to get a transcribed copy of their obits?
