I am searching for information on ggm Mary “Patty” Bean b. c1850 m. John H. Cox b. c1845 in 1865. I don’t know much about Mary I have information which I am not sure is correct saying she was born in Bell Co. Tx.. I do know that she and John were in Texas at some point because at least the two youngest children were born in Bell Co. and Lampasas Co. Tx. but Mary died in Mo in 1884 and is reportedly buried in the Cox Cemetery in Douglas Co. Mo. John and Mary had at least six children, Alice, Margaret, Amy, Sarah, Solomon & Enoch,
John’s father was Jahu (spelled with an "a" tho sometimes found with an "e") who married Margaret Hodge, they are buried in the Cox Cemetery in Douglas Co. Mo. I can find no evidence of Jahu and Margaret ever being in Texas.
I am really stuck on finding John's and Mary Bean's birthplace and where they were married.
I would appreciate any info you can share with me.
