Watkins of 189 Hello, I hope this helps you with your search My grandmother was Hattie Lelan Beene, her father was W.J.Beene, born 1844, Mississippi He married Sarah Catherine Brooks in Itawanba County Miss. Hattie was one of twelve children born to Sarah and W. J. They were W.Bob, Mary J., Nancy C., Lenoil D., Wiley C. James A., Eunice S., Sam D., Doyle Presston, Otis, and Hattie (1888). I have more if this helps you or anyone else. And I am trying to find out who Sara Catherine Brooks's mother was.
