Am looking for information about a Chauncey Beeman who m. a Rebecca (Lucy) Violet in 1824 in Pike Co. Ohio. He was perhaps the son of a Rueben and Miram Beeman. She was the daughter of a John and Mary Violet. He is beleived to have died 1846 in Des Moines Co. Iowa. Where was he buried? Rebecca m. a John Hartman in 1848 in Des Moines Co. Iowa. What happened to her after that? She was b. 1804. Chauncy and Rebecca had Philip, Mary, Gain, Sarah. Did some of the children go to Ohio? Any information about this family will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Dorothy
