My husband descends from the same Michael Beem as you describe in your posting, through his son Daniel. Some records show Daniel's wife as Jerusha Baker while others show his wife to be Jerusha Brown born in 1800 in MA. There was a Jerusha Baker in Licking Co. around the same time but, for various reasons, I'm inclined to believe the correct wife is Jerusha Brown.

Do you have any information about the family of John Brown of Jersey Twp., Licking Co., OH? I've seen his tombstone at the Universalist cemetery and have often wondered if there is a family connection.

I'd appreciate any insight you might be able to provide on this mystery. Thanks!
Cheryl
