My husband had a step-father named Jesse Beedle born in 1890 in the west central part of Indiana. He had an older brother Abraham, born in the late 1880's. Their mother Bessie was only 14 or so when she had her first child (Jesse was the second) and her husband was 25 - 30 years older than she. It may be a distant relation. I'll contact my mother in law and see if she can give me any more specifics on the family.
