Additiional information on William H. Beedle. He was a railroad fireman for the Great Western railroad, born in Ohio. He was married to Cinthia..?...who died in childbirth in Oct. 1859 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL. He was renting the house across from Abe Lincoln at that time, and Mrs. William Wallace who lived across the alley from him seemed to be caring for the baby, named "Monilla Beedle". In the 1870 census William and Emily Beedle and 2 children ages 8 and 1, were living on 9th St. in Springfield.....no mention of Monilla. The 1830 Sangamon Co.,IL census shows William Beedle, 30-40 years old, with a wife and 10 children, one of whom could be the right age to be William H. Beedle. Is this his family? Help, please.
