Nellie Belle REEVES and Douglas MELLOR were my great grandparents. They had children, Anna, Harry, John, Arta and Beryl, who was my grandmother.
Sarah REEVES lived with her daughter Nellie in Osceola, Iowa. When my grandmother was just nine months old, Douglas died of cholera and the family moved to Des Moines.
I have Sarah's death certificate; she is buried in Osceola next. Her husband, Artemus, died in the Civil War and is buried in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
