Kenneth, thanks for replying to the message. I am wondering if you might be related. My great, great, great grandfather, Joseph Beecroft was born in Little Horton, Bradford,Yorkshire about 1811. He had a brother, William, who was born about 1819, and who lived in LEEDS after he married. Their father was Thomas Beecroft, also born in Little Horton in 1791, and married to Hannah Leach also of Horton, Bradford, Yorkshire. I know that it is a stretch, but would your grandfather Willy possibly be a grandson of the William Beecroft who married Anni Warvell, 6 June 1847, at Bradford Parish Church, Bradford, Yorkshire? If these names mean anything to you, I would like to know, and also to say "Hello" to a cousin. Has your family been in Leeds for a long time?
